We would like to thank our grounds committee for volunteering and refreshing the front of school. The walkway serves as an entrance and must be handicap accessible. This is now possible because it is now free of debris. The committee will be planting and giving our school a beautiful new look. We will post pictures when it is all completed.




Ms. Michele Terrebonne, 3rd grade teacher and MES teacher of the year, is an Educator of Distinction State Winner.
Congratulations!!


Ms. Wanda Cousins, MES cafeteria manager, is honored for receiving the State PTA Lifetime Achievement Award.

Captain Gerard Fontenot, a helicopter pilot in the United States Marines, presented Mandeville Elementary an American flag and a Louisiana flag which he flew over the battlefields of Iraq. Captain Fontenot, a former MES student and son of MES' cafeteria manager, Ms. Wanda Cousin, flies a CH-53 Sea Stallion. Mandeville Elementary is honored to fly these flags.
