We will hold our annual toy drive to benefit children in need in the Mandeville area. We would like students to have a personal feeling of giving by encouraging them to do odd jobs around the house (raking, dusting, etc.) to earn money to purchase one new, unwrapped toy. This is a project that we hope will encourage responsibility and giving back.

Please have your child bring a new, unwrapped toy to his/her class between November 29 and December 8. All toys will be picked up on Friday, December 9 at 9:00 am and donated to children in the Mandeville area.

Thank you so much for your support as we encourage our students to spread happiness to others during the holiday season.

In conjunction with the City of Mandeville and the Mandeville Police Department, we need to make all of our parents aware of a major change in the carline procedure for the 2016 – 2017 school year. Please click on the links for specific directions and maps to follow when using our carline. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience.

Our Story:

Celebrating Mandeville Elementary’s Past, Present, and Future

Next school year, Mandeville Elementary will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary! Our theme, Our Story: Celebrating Mandeville Elementary’s Past, Present, and Future, is one that will be honoring all the learning that has occurred in the hallways of our wonderful school and celebrating a future of hope and promise!

As always, we have now begun brainstorming creative ways to incorporate the theme throughout the school year. We need your help in three ways:

·         Memorabilia/Pictures: If you or someone you know is willing to loan us some MES memorabilia/pictures from over the years, we promise to take good care of it. Please include the name and contact information from anyone loaning us memorabilia.

·         Stories: If you or someone you know has a really touching, engaging, or inspiring story to share about MES, we would love to record it to share with others.

·         Ideas: If you have any ideas for how we can celebrate this important milestone, please share them with us!

We are looking forward to another fantastic year at MES! Happy 50th Birthday, Mandy!
