What does Bird Club do? The students will learn to identify differen birds, learn about the bird's habitats and make new friends. We will take a walking field trip to see birds in their natural habitat and have a visit with some birds of prey.
This year the Club will be split into 2 groups and meet on alternating Wednesdays. Each group will have 3 flocks consisting of 15 members, a guide(teacher) and 2 parent volunteers. Each group will only be allowed to have 45 members.
The club will meet on Wednesdays after school until 5pm. in the cafeteria. Pick up at 5pm will be at the rear of the cafeteria. Anyone not picked up by 5:10pm will be taken to aftercare at your expense.
This year's session will start n December and conclude at the end of April. Students can wear this club T-shirt on the day of their meeting.
The session will end with a special visit from the Audubon Zoo Mobile featuring birds of prey.

Kindergarten /1st grade dates are 12/5, 1/9, 1/23, 2/13, 2/27, 3/12, 4/2, 4/16, 4/40.

2nd/3rd grade dates are 12/12, 1/16, 1/30, 2/20, 3/5, 3/19, 4/9, 4/23, 4/30.
