Car Rider Information
A.M. Car Line begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Cars will come from Massena St. and proceed to the gym door. Students are let out of the cars in front of the covered walkway. Parents are not to get out of their cars to bring students to the gym. Car duty ends at 8:45 p.m. Gym doors are locked and parents must check students in at the office. Students are considered tardy after 8:45 a.m. For Afternoon Car Line please do not block the front entrance of the school where the buses are exiting on Massena St. toward the East Approach. You must not block buses in front of the school when you are in the car line. Cars may not enter the car line from Monroe St. Please do not block driveways when you are waiting in the car line. The Mandeville Police will be issuing citations to anyone violating this ordinance. We put three children in cars at a time. Please pull up to the last duty teacher. The children are learning which car they ride, Number 1,2,3, or 4. We prefer for the children to ride in the back seat. If you want them in the front seat put your window down and let the duty teacher know. Unlock doors before you pull up in line. Place you child's name on a large sheet of paper, minimum of 8 1/2 X 11 inch sheet. Write their name in large block letters. Place this in the inside windshield on the passenger side as you pull up.
