Message from the Principal

Dear Families and Students,

Welcome back to another exciting school year at Mandeville Elementary. I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful summer filled with adventures, relaxation, and time with family and friends. As we prepare to open the doors for the 2025–2026 school year, I am filled with joy and anticipation for the incredible moments that lie ahead.

This year, our theme is "Our Happy Place." We believe that creating a positive, welcoming environment is essential for our growth and learning. Our goal is to make MES a place where every student feels safe, supported, and encouraged to explore their passions and abilities. Throughout the school year, we will focus on fostering a sense of community, celebrating diversity, promoting kindness to truly make MES “Our Happy Place”.

As we start this school year, I want to emphasize the importance of establishing and maintaining a routine. Please have your children come to school everyday and arrive on time. Our attendance guidelines can be found on our school’s website.

To keep routine and consistency and for the safety of all children, we ask that your child’s transportation to and from school also stays consistent. If your child is regularly a car rider, we will put them in car line unless otherwise stated through a note from you. Please communicate clearly with your child’s teacher to ensure any transportation changes.

Your involvement and engagement in your child’s education are key factors to your child’s success. When parents, teachers and administrators all work together as a team, our students thrive. Please feel free to call or email us with any suggestions or feedback. The office number is 985-626-3950.

Thank you for your support and commitment to making Mandeville Elementary a wonderful environment for our children to grow. Let’s embrace this new year with open hearts and minds, and I am confident it will be a memorable one filled with joy and achievement.

Stephanie Franzo
